Henry Collins

Henry Collins founded the Colchester Art Society in 1946 with John Nash and Sir Cedric Morris.
During the 1970s he worked in partnership with his wife Joyce on a number of concrete and mosaic murals for public buildings. He also taught at St Martin's School of Art, Colchester School of Art and in other institutions.
Over time, Collins developed a highly distinctive form of landscape painting that recalls the cubists.
